Hi, I am Kenny Schmidt, and I am an Advanced ProAdvisor utilizing QuickBooks Online based out of Watertown, WI. Thanks to the latest in cloud technology, I am able to work with businesses across the country. We handle their monthly bookkeeping, be that just reconciliation & reporting or the full package of A/R, A/P, Payroll, Projects, Time, etc. I also can provide fully customizable reporting to show you exactly what you want to see in relation to your finances and business performance.

 

Early in life, I was exposed to building things. My father’s way to relax after a long day at work, was to put a hammer in one hand and a saw in the other. He took great pride in remodeling our entire home, from new doors and trim, new built in cabinets, to finishing a completely unfinished basement into a rec room, bedroom and woodshop. This instilled in me a love for the creation of things from the vision to the planning to the completed project.

I have worked in multiple trades including hanging drywall and painting. I have also spent a great deal of my life working in customer service ranging from technical consulting with Fortune 500 companies to managing a $3.9M a year paint store. This included doing bookkeeping for the location.

I made a late in life decision to start my own business and take my passion for service, knowledge of basic bookkeeping, and my love for building and turn that into an avenue where I could partner with business owners with that zeal for building and help to improve their understanding of their finances and give them clarity into their numbers. Although my focus is on contractors and construction companies, I work with business across all industries.

 

I was born and raised in West Bend WI and have lived all over the United States. I now reside in Watertown, WI with my beautiful wife Sara. I have 3 grown children, Grayci, Dylan and Camylle, and 4 grandchildren, Kylie, Kameron, Cooper and Madison. When I am not working, I spend my time on finishing my basement and attending live music events with my wife. I also enjoy camping, kayaking and most importantly spending time with my family.
